I think the theme for this week will be change. Yesterday I changed my hair. Today, Troy was fired from his job. I guess his was a bigger deal. That is debatable.
Anyway kids, calm down. Everything is good in the hood. The day was stressful for many reasons, but it was also filled with many wonderful surprises. The biggest surprise (and the one that I am truly grateful for) is how loyal friends and family can be. I didn't see that kind of loyalty where Troy was working, but I see it in his future.
The biggest kicker is that he was going to hand in his resignation today. But, you know Troy, he can't leave a job peacefully - burning and bridges must be involved.
A great distraction was this book and a great card from Tre - Disapproving Rabbits.

It's basically bunnies disapproving of everything you do, from what you look at on the internet, what you wear, your carpet, everything. Very cute and it will stay on my desk to save me from bad days.
