Saturday, March 8, 2008: Cali Day 3

It's the weekend. Weeeeeeeee! We slept in a little. Here is me waking up.

This is John's room where we stayed. Troy is trying to steal an internet signal.

This is how tall this guy is.

We walked down to the grocery store that wasn't too far from his house and took a walk through the Rose Garden. As you can see, they are not really in bloom right now.

Photobucket

But the azalias are.

A lovely fountain.

Some wild turkeys came down from the mountains and were just chilling in the park.

Another chicken in a cage off the park.

The hill leading to Johns. So tall.

Here is one of the gorgeous houses by Rose Park.

This guy had all of these rad rock sculptures.

When we go back to the house we decided to go to Golden Gate Park. It is absolutely gorgeous. I'm just going to toss in a couple shots of the flowers.

This is the biggest pine cone I've ever seen.

We went for a paddle ride. I navigated in the back seat while the guys paddled around. These turtles were just chilling out on a log.

There are the guys working it out.

Here is one of the pagodas hanging around.

This was one sculptures next to the Dekooning museum.

Here is a little boy trying to take out a frog.

These trees were everywhere. So beautiful.

We walked around Haight for a little. We stopped to eat at this pizza place. God damn good pizza.

Here is where the electric buses cross. It's just really weird to see this big criss cross of wires next to these amazingly beautiful houses.

That night we made this really good dinner with kielbasa and perogies. The kielbasa was out of this world. The perogies were good too, but this guy was a little creepy.
