Day70 - Berkley is beautiful.

Monday, March 10, 2008: Cali Day 5.

Monday AM we all went back to work. It was kind of sad to be in a building most of the day, even if it was sunny and close to organic chickens.

After work we went to Berkley to go to this magical Northface Outlet that wasn't too magical. Atleast not for me. The jackets were all around 40-75% off, but nothing in my size - except for a jacket that wouldn't match my snow pants. Troy found some great pullovers for pretty cheap. I came away with nothing.

Afterwards, we walked around UC-Berkley. It was a really great campus and totally made me want to go back to school.

I was trying to take a picture of this sculpture and this dog totally busted in at the last second.

The sun was setting as we treked along.

Berkley has a really high homeless rate, which is pretty surprising since it's very much like State College. We passed one guy who was screaming at some girl who walked by about how her grandmother didn't love her and her father was part of the gestapo, "That Nazi Fuck!" I was like, holy shit, even the homeless here are really smart. I don't use gestapo in my every day burns.

Here is Jeremy Fish mural on the skate shop. His new shop is in North Beach not to far from here.

He just looks creepy here.

Afterwards, we went home and crashed. John and Troy found a 3-wheeler next to a curb that they knicked. John wants to enter the big 3-wheeler event they have every year in on Easter. After that, we watched October Road and The Ghost Whisperer (NOT my idea). It was like hanging out with my gram, not 3 dudes.
