Day102 - A very great day.

Friday, April 11, 2008: Harrisburg: Allegheny Brewing Company.

We had some things to do in Harrisburg today, and after those things were done we stopped at the Allegheny Brewing Company for booze and maybe something to eat.

When I say we, I mean Kelly and Nick:

And me and Troy:

And our good friend beer.

The brewery is gorgeous and very well designed and furnished. Shit. Check out that rocking mullet. God bless that guy for rocking out to 1988.

And who doesn't love a 6-pack of condiments.

I picked the Chipotle Chicken Cake. It is like a crab cake with chicken. It was supposed to be hot - it was not. I may have burned out my taste receptors a few weeks ago - nothing is hot enough anymore.

Troy ordered the Pulled Pork. After one bite we traded. Each had ordered what the other really wanted. I kept my fries and totally chowed them down.

Kelly ordered Fish and Chips and it came on this faux newsprint.

We talked about stuff and things and ironed other things out. It was a very good day. Here is the plaque next to the small riverlet that runs behind the brewery.

It was very beautiful in an industrial way.

That night we went to Yana and Allen's house for the first time. I was having a good time and forgot to take a picture save for this one of her very flexible kitty she rescued. Thanks for having us Mr. and Mrs.

All in all, it was a great day. One of those days when everything is wonderful and as it should be. I loved it.
